Warby Motorsport has successfully tested Spirit of Australia II on the Manning River, Taree, N.S.W during July 2017. Ken, Dave & the team spent the weekend checking engine and operational systems on the boat. The boat’s performance exceeded the teams expectations for it’s first outing, with the boat getting on the plane easily, and tracked straight. all systems on the boat worked as they should, Dave felt comfortable driving a jet powered hydroplane for the first time, with 4 runs on the short river over 110mph . Testing will now move to Blowering Dam N.S.W ( where Ken Broke the current World Water Speed Record) in late September to allow longer & faster tests on the 10 km long course.
