With two World Water Speed Records set by Australian Ken Warby MBE in The
Spirit of Australia in 1977 and 1978 still unbroken, Ken’s son David is set to put Spirit 2 to the test again, in the 4th preparation trial run on the Manning River on Saturday 24th Feb 2018.
This trial run will further test the newly-built Spirit 2 , a second generation jet powered hydroplane, in
preparation for David’s attempt at challenging the Outright Unlimited World Water Speed Record
of 511 Kmh .
Further testing will be conducted over the coming month at Blowering Dam NSW, dates to be announced.
